In addition to AROW (Airworthiness Certificate, Registration, Operating Limitations, and Weight and Balance Data) Seven more things must be considered to prove the aircraft is airworthy. These additional things should be committed to memory, and recalled whenever you are checking the status of an aircraft's airworthiness.
1. Aircraft Annual Inspection [91.409(a)(1)]
2. Altimeter Mode C Test [91.217] or [91.411]
3. Compliance with Airworthiness Directives [Maintenance Log]
4. ELT Battery Date [91.207(c)]
5. ELT Annual Inspection [91.207(d)]
6. Transponder Test (24 Months) [91.413]
7. Inoperative Equipment [91.213(d)]
